Unhappy Seagate Crystal Reports problem

Dear pals

I didn't find a separate forum for reporting or Seagate Crystal Reports, so am posting it here.

We developed some reports using Seagate Crystal Reports 8 on Windows 2000 Server on IIS 5 as there was a migration process we had some problems with Windows 2003 on IIS 6, later I found that Win2003 doesn't support Seagate Crystal Reports 8 and even Crystal Reports 9 is not supported by IIS 6 as a web server, we are published these reports over the browser using the ActiveX component. As a stand by, we considered using the old system having Windows 2000 and IIS 5 and connect to the Remedy Server on another machine installed on Win2003 using the AR Systems ODBCm things are working fine on the Developer, but not on the browser, when ever clikced on the report it keeps prompting for the username and password of the Remedy server, We have provided these on the ODBC which connects to the Remedy server but still in vain, even though we proved the username and password it still keeps prompting, can you people tell me what we have missed out.

Thank you

Unhappy crystal activex problem

Hi, Did you find a solution with the activex problem? We also use a Crystal 8 version activex running on win 2003. The CR viewer will work when we use a database on a win2k server but we get the prompts when we try to use a database on win 2003. We think it is a permssions problem but not making any progress. Would appreciate any feedback you might can offer us.
thanks
