Software Tool Support Website

Hi

Further to my previous post I would like to ask if anyone here has developed a software tool or such and has yet to provide any online support/assistance for it?

I am looking to base my dissertation project on developing a website providing online support for a software tool and would be very grateful for help that anyone could provide.

Once the project is complete (which will have be quite soon ) I would be happy for the software tool owner to keep the site and use it as they wish.

If all goes to plan the site will be built in either ASP.Net or PHP with a database backend with a admin area providing a fully customisable yet very easy to administer and use website.

Thanks in advance
