Anyone can recommend a good backup software for a site ?
I already have a backup software but i want something that would enable me to quickly retrieve edited files. Looking for the following backup structure: at least 4 times a day (in the same day) then it saves the last 2 for the next day up to a week. Then weekly Then monthly. I looked at SyncBackSE but it doesn't have the versioning structure that i want and it doesn't automatically do the backups (you have to create a windows task) P.S i'm using windows. (iis if it matters) Thanks. Last edited by lowspeed : January 1st, 2008 at 11:57 PM. |

Well if your running the server then all you need to do is contact a web hosting company who sells IIS hosting, windows hosting, and ask them what they use. Every company that I have ever heard of uses some sort of back-up tool.
But if your wanting it to download and store files in certain locations automatically I am not so sure that they can help you. -moose *P.S. - If you find some software that can do this please tell me, I am also trying to find some basic stuff to use.
