What is CMS?

Can someone explain what is CMS?

I have good experience in PHP, it would be good if I develop CMS?

To know what is CMS you can refer these links:

_http://www.contentmanager.eu.com/history.htm

I'd suggest you first get acquainted with what a CMS is all about and then you could decide if you would like to develop a CMS yourself. Chances are you might not, coz there are many out there.

IMHO, since you are a good php coder, you could rather contribute to one of the open source CMS' out there!

CMS stands for Content Management System. You can check PhpNuke to find out what features should a good CMS include:

No need for reinventing the wheel.

I Don't use CMS anyways, it's harder for me figuring out how to use it then making my own system run in PHP in 15 minutes.

Peace,
Ramon
