Where do I sit?
Hi everyone
I want to make an application where I can give the view of a building(internal structure of building with cubicles/cabins/fans/computers) and associate where every person sits So, that whenver any person searches for a particular name, that location gets zoomed Please give me pointers on how this can be done!

jeez, what kind of 3D stuff do you know? All you'd need is a 3D model of the building and associate each person with an x,y,z position. Can you do that in JS?

The simplest solution to that would be to make an SWF file. You could use Actionscript or just simple Flash tools to zoom into the locations specified and stuff like that.

good idea, use AIR if desktop app and Flex2 (soon to be 3) if on web.
