I have recently tested a few XML editors for work and can thoroughly recommend XMLSpy. What a cracking little app! Very easy to use even without XML knowledge. Lots of groovy features on the Enterprise version. I was especially thrilled about the brand new version that fully integrates with Visual Studio! Shame about the price tag for the full Enterprise edition tho.

I'll second that - I've had nothing but good things to say about my experiences w/ XMLSpy. If you want to learn more about it, visit http://xmlspy.com/
