Your guys opinion on Adobe Flex 2/CF

I posted this same question in the cold fusion forum however after careful review I think it belongs here....

I've been posting questions pretty much all over the forum related to an assignment I've been given at work. Basically I need to create a really low level project management website to add to our current website so that we can communicate with our installers out in the field. the site will be really low level with minimal functionality. the original time table I had has been increased until next year...thank god. However I still need to plan for the future. We will be looking over the next 5 years to integrate a job posting system, a BB system, an online store (with real time inventory updates), user friendly cms for different departments to make updates, and eventually I think integrate it with our accounting software and host it on our server. I won't be forced into doing all of this by my lonesome however I've been placed in charge of getting the ball rolling.

Now I've been looking at a bunch of different adobe applications and web technologies and now I've pretty much come to a crossroad where I need to make a decision as to

Do I...

1. Develop in Flex 2 using Cold Fusion. (Does anyone have experience in Flex? Could use input, opinion, info, any?)

2. Continue with php and mysql, using flash, photoshop, and dreamweaver.

3. Develop using Cold Fusion, flash, photoshop and dreamweaver (using dreamweaver templates).

I realize that this is a loaded question that really boils down to developer preference. However I'm new to php, mysql, cold fusion, and flex. I have extensive experience in the rest.

Any of these roads are going to require that I learn new technologies and applications. I guess I'm just wondering what ones are the easiest to learn and will allow for expansion in the future.

Almost forgot, please don't limit your responses to the above, I would love to hear any other suggestions any of you have.

I really apprecieate your help with my issue,

-isus
