hi, i have been hired to install a new newsletter module for one of my clients way out in alaska (kind of far from los angeles ehh?? < damn thats good marketing! =))
well, i put a wysiwyg editor so that they can edit images, and fonts colors and sizes and run the entire newsletter themsevles with having to know html or even bb (there like 45 year old biz owners, i wont even try to teach em)
but the wysiwyg editor is a little flakey, when i switch view from reular to code, it sometimes removes font sizes, may add new line breaks where i ddint put them, just changes the overall look of it!!
im using the free wysiwyg that i downloaded for php-nuke. it might be html area, not sure, but could that be the problem? or are all browser based wyssiwyg editors like this.

They're all going to be HTML text areas, pretty much. You might be able to find some Java or Flash ones if you search Google.
Have you asked on the PHP-Nuke site with regards to your actual problems?
