2 Domain Name in 1 Server
Hi All,
I hope you can enlighten me with some issues that is bugging me for sometime already. First, I am a newbie with this and patient is really needed! Anyway, here is my problem...our company is involved in network implementation, and we have a client who has 2 domain names with different IP address(global)... i.e. URL and URL I am thinking if it is possible to setup only 1DNS server for this 2 domain names...if it is possible, can you tell me how? thanks so much! |

What OS?
What DNS? Of course it's possible to have a DNS that serves more than one domain, just add the entries where you assign the DNS server as a master for those domains. You should have a slave DNS server for them as well though. I'm not a DNS guru so I'm not sure I can guide you through how to set it up, but there's probably plenty of documentation about your specific choice of DNS available if you Google for it, or if someone else pick up this thread. With a little more information from you first, that is.... You could also try searching this forum. //NoXcuz
