I have just set up a DNS server, it is accessed through a router which has a fixed IP address, via port forwarding. The IP address of the server is 10.0.0.50 on my internal LAN (I only have one fixed IP so have to use port forwarding.
The problem is, that even although I manually add the fixed IP address (the router) in DNS, after a while it defaults back to the internal LAN IP address... does anyone know what might be causing this and how to rectify? Any help much appreciated. Cheers, Sam |

The evil in your choice piece of real estate in hell is called "Active Directory". Uncheck the checkbox indicating whether that zone is "integrated with Active Directory".
