a simple thing, but I am lost

I can only hope this is in the correct place. I guess the best place to start would be a little background. I am attempting to put up my first web site and four weeks ago I knew you had to mash two buttons and then the pretty little television screen would lite up, OK, since then I have learned you call it a monitor. No laughing out loud please http://64.89.103.81:7787/ . As you age learning becomes harder and I was born in 1926.

I have registered my domain at http://www.sitename.com/ a galcom company. I cannot get it to work at all when I type in gettingtogather.com . I have sent in four support tickets trying to find out what I have done wrong and they answered one time. I followed their instructions to the letter and still nothing . It gives too little blocks, one saying DNS 1 and the other saying DNS 2. I feel like I am informational saturated, too much too fast.

Any help that you would be kind enough to give me would be most appreciated.
Thank you
ancient

heh, if you're really 78 years old then I've got serious respect for ya. Being "ancient" and actively learning how to get around in the computer age is something I admire.

Anywho, DNS1 and DNS2 is where you plug in the domains of the DNS servers that have the IP address information associated with your domain. You can sign up with one of these free domain hosts to get you started:

Your age isn't important. You still have got to learn how to post in ANY public forum.
1) Don't use crappy subject title (a simple thing, but I am lost). Nobody cares your feeling, we ONLY CARE the content of your message in descriptive+short form as your subject title. This rule might be implicit here, but it's explicit in many other famous forums.

2) Your 1st paragraph was next to useless, irrelevant, wasting the world's bandwidth and time. Since you are at that age, you should have saved your energy and time while you can still be able to type

Sir
It does behoove beligerent gentleman to at least consider the ill wind that spews forth from thier upper posterior, especially when it is emitted by the dead gray matter lying between their earlobs.
I hope that you are not so ignorant that you think you are so perfect and I hope you're unethical post is not a commonplace on these forums. It must be nice to be a self appointed perfect God. the only thing that exceeds the ignorance of your post is the arrogance of the simpleton idiot doing the posting.
I apologize to the rest of the forum but not to this idiot.
thank you
ancient

You called that unethical? Look at yours, need I repeat?
1) crappy subject title
2) wasting the world's bandwidth and time

And you are unwilling to follow the guidelines. Disrepect me when I taught you a free lesson (of how to post a subject title) without saying thanks.
You can be at age of 100, nobody cares, but this is your DAY 1 here. Kid, when daddy teaches you something, you just shut up and listen.

This will be my last post to you for you cannot argue with stupidity and ignorance and you have taught me only one thing and that is you must be a 10yr old idiot stirring trouble.
The only post wasting bandwidth is your tripe. Also I have nothing but disrespect for you.
