can dns point different sub-domain at different server at physical location.
when zonedit.com is applied,
in three domains name environment and many sub-domains. there is many IP address at the zoneedit.com. can dns ( zoneedit.com) point different subdomains when they are at different physical locaion such that 111.myserver.com true-IP-1 222.myserver.com true-IP-1 333.myserver.com true-IP-2 <------ different IP 444.myserver.com true-IP-2 <------- different IP here 555.myserver.com true-IP-1 666.myserver.com true-IP-1 I have not tried , but I think it will work. any one tried yet??????????

If I understand you correctly you only have ONE domain and its DNS is being hosted at zonedit.com. Say you now have two static IPs and you want 111,222,555,666 to point to your 1st static IP at 12.34.56.1 and 333,444 to point to 12.34.56.2. For that, they only need to add two A records of 333,444 and point them to 12.34.56.2. If that's not the case, tell us your REAL domain and the subdomains in question.
BTW, are you finally done with your packet filter? |
