configuring djbdns as nameserver
I want to run my own nameserver using djbdns. I installed the daemontools & djbdns, but it is not working, I am unable to telnet 127.0.0.1 53 & am not seeing port 53 LISTENING in netstat -a. Do I need to install something else? I thought I may need to install dhscache, but I don't want to use djbdns for caching.
Any help appreciated!! |

Make sure svscan is monitoring your tinydns directory correctly - it sounds as though you haven't got svscan running so it's not finding the tinydns service and starting it.
