djbdns not listening on port 53
I am trying to get djbdns working on RH9, but have a problem. I have installed daemontools, ucspi & djbdns all successfully (including the errno patches). I have also configured dnscache to use a secondary IP on my ethernet card.
My problem is that I do not see port 53 listening, & am unable to telnet 127.0.0.1 53. Any ideas??

You won't be able to telnet to it as it runs over UDP rather than TCP, which telnet uses. Does it respond to DNS queries from other machines?

Fixed, I think... Thanks, You pointed me in the right direction. I was able to resolve inside my domain, but not outside. I'll post what I did once I confirm it is working.
