DNS - directing my web address to my PC

Hi guys,

I am looking at setting up my own little web host at home. I already have all the software to run the webhost (Apache 2.0, and addons) and am wanting to set things up so my domain name (www.watto.org) points to my home computer.

Now, I know that I need to know DNS and Gateway addresses when I go to set up my domain name. How do I know what my DNS server is? Am I required to install some kind of DNS server on my PC, or do I simply use the DNS of my ISP or something? I think that is all I really need to know.

Thanks for all your help

Question: Do you have a static ip address?

Yeah, a static IP - I realise it is pretty stupid trying to point my address to my computer if it is always changing IPs

And thanks for that link, I will check it out.
