Background:
A website I have visited frequently before is suddenly returning a "dns error" signal on IE6 and a "could not locate remote server" on Opera7. Curious enough, almost all other websites function perfectly, while any site with the domain http://lists.zaurus.com is given the error. Any attempt to refresh the page seems like it never recieves the command to refresh. I have searched the web page on google, and am able to see the basics of the site on google's "cache" option, but any click on the site gives the fore mentioned DNS error. This error has occured on other random sites since then. Stats: I am one of four computers behind a Linksis router for DSL, all of which run Windows XP. All the computers have this problem. Things I have tried: Searched for spyware adware and cleaned them. Flushed DNS from command prompt. Deleted cookies and temporary internet files. Deleted Opera, thinking it changed some settings. I have read posts on similar problems, but have yet to find a solution, or a reason for the problem so I can prevent it. Thanks for any help! Matt. |
