DNS help!

Hi all,
I'm new to the whole DNS thing and like many others are having problems setting up my own DNS server. I am running windows server 2003 Web Edition, IIS and windows DNS. I set one domain up on zoneedit and it worked fine (iis is working ok) but I wish to set up my own dns to use instead. The domain is paradigmmultimedia.net.au with a static ip of 202.182.89.54 through my broadband and router. I have port forwarding UDP/TCP port 53 to my assigned local ip (the windows server) and have even looked at my IP and domain using the dollardns cgi program to get an idea of what I am doing wrong compared to others that seem to be correct.
I am just not sure of my setup with the A names etc
I have put www in the A name host field and have added ns1.paradigmmultimedia.net.au and ns2.paradigmmultimedia.net.au and pointed my domain registrar at these name servers and this static IP.
I would greatly appreciate any help as I have scoured around for how to's which usually deal with AD and other stuff I arn't using and I'm at a bit of a loss.
Thanx in advance.

paradigmmultimedia.net.au Zone Transfer

oh alright, I guess I'm going to help ya. All these Microsoft DNS Server questions are kinda tough to answer when I don't use it myself. Since it seems that you're figuring out how to use it, I can provide the guidence. The zone file is perfect except your contact email isn't an email address.

whois paradigmmultimedia.net.au

*whew* looks like I support australian domains. Looks like everything is fine here.

paradigmmultimedia.net.au Name Servers

And it seems this information has updated on the domain name system.

Everything looks perfectly functional. Even the website loads. And you think you have a problem?

Wow...what a relief! I had another go last night (aus time) and as everything looked ok (didn't really know as I cant check it) I left it for you guys to look at - I am fairly fumbling in the dark at the moment!

Thanks again, I really appreciate the time you invest in helping people here.
