DNS Help
Currently, I have a Linux server running BIND, which is acting as my primary/secondary nameserver.
Today, I just got a Windows 2003 server, and I want it's domain/hostname to be win1.mydomain.com. To do this, what DNS records must I add to my Linux server? Do I need a pointer, an A record, etc.? Thanks! ![]() Carson |

Yes, you need an 'A' record. Basic zone editing details is provided in the sticky topic in this forum.
