DNS issue?

I hope someone can help me out here. Not a major issue just a big nuisance. I'm running Win2k. Comcast for and ISP. On 09/19 I opened IE and page can not be displayed, checked other pages surfs fine, deleted temp files, surfs fine, except for google. simple enough "homepage is set go URL" Checked the second computer, everything is fine with google...pulls right up. Rebooted 2k machine. Same issue. ipconfig /release & renew. ipconfig /flushdns & registerdns. no google. So pinged google with other computer. Got the IP of 216.239.39.99. Put that address as my homepage on 2K, there's google. Set my homepage back to URL no surf. By the way when I set my homepage to domain name it's trying to resolve too 64.191.59.85. I can't surf to this address. My homepage has always been set to the domain name of google not by IP. The links for google that are listed in this post I cannot surf too. ANY thoughts or suggestions would greatly be appreciated. Thanks
