DNS, Nameserver, and Parked domain problem. NEED HELP FAST!!!
I have domainone.com hosted on a machine here in my office.
I have domaintwo.com parked on top of domainone.com. I got a reseller hosting account with a large hosting company and registered ns.domaintwo.com and ns2.domaintwo.com pointing to the IP address given to me by the hosting company. Yesterday I changed the Nameservers on domaintwo.com to point to ns.hostingcompany.com and ns2.hostingcompany.com. Pulling a whois shows that the change has been made. It shows the new nameservers. However I can still send emails to URL and they are recieved by URL. which is what I wanted. But now I think I made a mistake by changing the nameservers on domaintwo.com. Can you have domaintwo.com hosted and parked on one box, and have ns.domaintwo.com and ns2.domaintwo.com pointing to another box? Therefore hosting my clients on these nameservers, but still haveing the regular domain name parked on top of my primary domain here in my office? |
