    DNS when redirecting domain

    HI, have a question/problem.

I have a website at a webhosting service, but my domain names is located at another domain host.

I have two domain names. Now I wanted to point the domains ( I have two) to the new site/server. All good so far.

My question is, since one of the domain names is just redirecting to the first and "real" domain, should I just change the dns on the ONE "real" domain and let the redirecting domain have the dns of the domain host?

Or should both domains have the dns to the new site?
(I can see the redirecting administration is made in correctly at the domain host)

ok sorry for my lack of explanation. Hope you understand the question and problem.

    thank you

If it's working the way you want, then there is no reason to move the DNS.
