Dns Registration

Hi all,
My name is lajan jaleel. iam working as a network administrator,actually iam new in the realtime environment.my work experiane is only 2 months,

actually my qs is i have one domain name registerd and hosted by etisalat(isp). rightnow i want to remove the domain name and domain hosting from etisalat(isp) and i want to configure my domain in house. i have a server public ip and leased line i know the configurations to install dns. i want to know that were i can register my domain name and my public ip because in tld they want to know my domain name and public ip.......
somebody please help me

You need to change the name servers at the Registrar. The Registrar is who you bought the domain name from. Sometimes it can be the same as the hosting company you use but it could also be a completely different company. You would just update the name servers to point to your own in house servers.
