DNS Server that does Domain Name Aliasing?
Here's my situation:
I've got 3 domain names: * exampleintl.com * exampleinternational.com * examplegroup.com I have 50 subdomains (ie. www, mail, bill) setup for exampleintl.com. I want to have URL, URL, and URL to all resolve to the same IP, but I don't want to have to type or copy and paste (more like *remember* to copy and paste) two extra times when I add a new subdomain. Does anyone know of a domain server (or a patch to one of them.. I was thinking one that does SQL integration might do it) so that I can "alias" my two other domains to the first so that they all have the same subdomains that go to the same places??? I haven't seen bind do it.. djbdns didn't appear to at first glance.. but it'd save me tons of time if I could find one that would! Thanks! --Bob |

in BIND, create a template zone file, then in named.conf, point all the domains you want to the same file.
