DNS Setup

I have a server running Windows 2003. I setup the DNS and got that working fine. However when I goto my site I want it to keep the main address and not put on any extensions to the address. I used SimpleDNS before and that would keep everything from getting added to the address, is this possible with the DNS service in Windows? Or do I have to use something else?
