DNS, Windows2003, MX Record Problem
I have a domain that I can't get the rest of the world to see my DNS records for mail.
Here are my entries for this. Name Type Data (same as parent folder) Start of Authority (SOA) [2003052438], 400mt., none.andfam.com. (same as parent folder) Name Server (NS) ns0.hoghut.com. (same as parent folder) Name Server (NS) ns1.hoghut.com. (same as parent folder) Host (A) 69.27.141.22 mail Host (A) 69.27.141.22 mail Mail Exchanger (MX) [10] mail.hoghut.com. ns0 Host (A) 69.27.141.120 ns1 Host (A) 69.27.141.22 pop3 Host (A) 69.27.141.120 smtp Host (A) 69.27.141.120 www Host (A) 69.27.141.22 If you do a DNS check from URL and show all records, you will not see my MX records or the A record for mail. If you have seen this problem before, please share the resolve here. Much appreciated! |

you put the MX record on the mail... domain instead of the root domain. Put the mx on the root and you're good to go.
