Domain doesn't resolve again!!!
SilentRage:
I used your wonderful site to do a DNS on my domain, and according to the results, I guess it works, but the domain just doesn't show up in the browser. http://www.dollardns.net/cgi-bin/dn...nd+Query#report Apparently everything with the DNS is correct, but why doesn't it resolve? I checked my router, and all the ports are fowarded to my server, and I also checked the firewall on the Linux, and set it to medium, and allowing all the necessary ports. Is there anything else I need to do to get my site working? Oh, btw, my site is: http://www.coopercentral.org Thanks a million!!! ![]() Ken Cooper

Your domain currently resolves on my server, but it didn't used to. I flushed the cache and it immediately resolved fine. Apparently it cached a negative response.
dig @ns1.coopercentral.org coopercentral.org axfr As you can see you have TTL set to 1 day for all your records. This is fine, however, your minimum TTL is set to 1 day as well. This value is used to cache negative responses. So if there was a problem with your domain at some point, everybody who tried to resolve your domain will continue to say it doesn't work for a whole day before it actually makes SURE it doesn't work still. Don't know what your original problem was, but if you want to recover from such problems more quickly then you should lower the SOA minimum TTL.

There's nothing to fix, I don't know what the original problem was. I only offered a bit of advice you can optionally act on - which is lowering the minimum TTL value on your SOA record.
