Domain Problems
Hi guys.. take a look at this, if anyone has any steps etc I can take to try resolve this problem please help me along

M:\>net use \\hous2701\ica_client$ The command completed successfully. M:\> Can't figure out why this would be happening, this problem machine works fine on its domain and can authenticate to all the london servers etc |

This is not a DNS problem. Perhaps you should post this in the windows forum.

if I try connect by IP address it connects straight away

It is not a DNS problem. NetBIOS (or WINS? not terribly familiar with what WINS is) resolves those kind of names.

is this a terminal server. if so, please see microsoft support. there's an issue. if this is not an ts issue, can you ping the server name? if not, add a line in the LMHOST file or add a WINS server. for modifications for LMHOST check either MS's site or read the heading in the file. lmhost is found in c:\winnt\system32\drivers\etc\
