Question Dutch (.nl) domains, and W A record for localhost
I'm trying to get my Dutch (.nl) domain to work with my own DNS server!

Problem now is that I'm missing a W A record for localhost

I've been playing with the .srolllock.nl.zone file, but I'm still geting the error! (The Dutch are very picky about this. If there is an error they will not set the DNS)

Any sugestion on how to fix the W A record for localhost ?

Do you even know what you're asking? What's a "W A" record? W = Working? There's an A record for sure, each type of record is represented by a single mnemonic term. "W A" is not a proper record mnemonic.

Also it is confusing that you refer to localhost and srollocks.nl in the same question. localhost. and srollocks.nl. are completely different zones.

It would help if you said where you are getting the error and paste the error exactly.

Yes it's confusing, but really the error I got back was saying missing a W A record for localhost!

Anyway.. I got it to work.
All that needed was a localhost A 127.0.0.1 to fix it!
It's only .NL's who insist for this "localhost" stuff

Have a look and give it a go yourself if you want (you will need to create a .NL zone in your DNS):

Some translation for the Non Dutch:
Domeinnaam (including.nl): domain name including .nl
Naam IP-adres: name IP-Address
Eerste nameserver: 1st nameserver
Tweede nameserver: 2nd nameserver

Also. With the .NL's you can not use a NS1/2 with the same IP's.
