does anyone know of a free dynamic dns service that would allow me to use my registered domain name -- not get an account with thier subdomain eg. mywebsite.NO-IP.com?

The (de)merits of dnsexit.com were discussed a while ago in this thread: http://forums.devshed.com/showthrea...&threadid=43090

Appears that Jack Chen has been reading that thread, because he's fixed some of the errors on his own domain since the time that the thread was discussed. However, he still has reverse mapping problems and easydns is still his primary for netdorm.com. Incidentally he's still listed on the Spamhaus RBL list. The second name server (ns2.dnsexit.com) appears to be on someone's home DSL line.

at http://www.dyndnsservices.com you will find a sample service. You can use it for the life of the service if you wish. just let me know what you choose as your userid after sighn up, and I will register your account.
