error by migrating from named8 to named9 on aix
Hi,
by migrating from named8 to named9 on aix 5.2, i receive the error: LABEL: SRC_SVKO IDENTIFIER: BC3BE5A3 Date/Time: Di 13 Jul 14:20:36 2004 Sequence Number: 171 Machine Id: 004A6C2C4C00 Node Id: ws0010_systech Class: S Type: PERM Resource Name: SRC Description SOFTWARE PROGRAM ERROR Probable Causes APPLICATION PROGRAM Failure Causes SOFTWARE PROGRAM Recommended Actions MANUALLY RESTART SUBSYSTEM IF NEEDED Detail Data SYMPTOM CODE 256 SOFTWARE ERROR CODE -9017 ERROR CODE 0 DETECTING MODULE 'srchevn.c'@line:'350' FAILING MODULE named Can me anybody help, what's wrong with the migration? I'm not familiar with AIX, except I know that it is IBM's unix-like operating system. So I guess I can handle this question as if it's on unix. Execute named like this:
named -u named -g change "-u named" to refer to the user you're running BIND as. On linux and unix systems this is usually "named". Paste for me the results.
