Fedora PROBLEM!

ok, I have a problem with Fedora DNS and I can't figure it out. I have a zone x.com on a Windows Server with two Fedora boxes acting as slaves. The GUI wasn't working so I edited named.conf to have

zone "x.com" IN {
type slave;
file "x.com.zone";
masters {LOCALIP; };
};

Now this all worked, and both boxes were recieving transfers, and serving up that zone. Now today, I came in and they were not working. Both showed only serving 3 zones (default zones) and not the x.com.

Now if I dig the first server it returns nothing, and the windows box keeps saying that the zone transfer was a success, but the zone file shows the last configuration that worked (2 or 3 versions later).

With the second one, it returns the DNS entry for our original network (that is going to be replaced with this new set of computers). The entry is the local 192.* address of the old location with the DNS servers of the old servers. If I check the zone file it is the same one that last worked.

I have changed nothing on the Windows Server. The Windows server is now making two transfers, but both are going to the first box, and none to the second. WHAT IS GOING ON HERE? Someone please help, or at least give me some ideas, because I am trying to bring the new servers online and take the old ones off today...

I suppose there's no way I can test these servers remotely eh?

nope, they're not active yet. It is the weirdest thing, one server now says can't connect to the server, on the same computer.

Well if we had all the time in the world I would go through the very long drawn out process of debugging and learning about your system. Since you use Microsoft DNS Server, and since I can't remotely test, it makes it difficult for me to help you with just message board posts back and forth.
