frame redirect (forwarding with masking)
If I register a domain and have "frame redirect" on, so that no matter where they go on my site it's just www.mydomainname.com, is there a way to turn of frame redirect and have it be www.mydomainname.com/register.php or would that take away the name in the browser url and make it the actual virtual path of my machine? or is this a company specific question?
I'm running the webserver off my box so I just need forwarding with masking mainly. If i can't do this to allow www.mydomainname.com/page.asp, does anyone have any recommendations for sites that have these for relatively cheap prices, i'm looking at joker.com right now.....but i'm afraid they won't be able to let me see the /page.html which is what i'd prefer, i'm looking for mainly these optins: domain registration forwarding with masking email at domain name |

Yes - get proper hosting. Quote:
You need to delegate the authority for your domain to two DNS servers, then configure those DNS servers to publish your box's IP address as the A record for that domain. You can either set up your own DNS server on that box, or pay a company like easydns to do it for you.
