GUID DNS name resolution fails

Hello.

This is my first post on this forum. I am trying to setup an Exchange 2003 server on Windows 2000 domain controller.
It is a test installation and it is installed on an internal LAN. I am completely puzzled about GUID DNS name resolution problem!
I couldn't find any references to GUID in any help files or e-books... Could someone help, please?

I run DCDIAG utility that is one of Exchange server pre-installation tasks and it gives the following message:

Testing server: Bunker-1\MAIN
Starting test: Connectivity MAIN's server GUID DNS name could not be resolved to an IP address. Check the DNS server, DHCP, server name, etc
Although the Guid DNS name (9f3f9192-6df7-4673-92d7-96ebd74e11a5._msdcs.home.slava.us) couldn't be resolved, the server name (main.home.slava.us) resolved to the IP address (192.168.2.6) and was pingable. Check that the IP address is registered correctly with the DNS server.
......................... MAIN failed test Connectivity

Thank you.
Slava

GUID = Globally Unique Identifier

Here's an RFC written by Microsoft discussing the process

Application and Sub Application Identity Policy Element for Use with RSVP
http://www.faqs.org/rfcs/rfc2872.html

Here's a question posted to Experts-Exchange dealing with this issue:
http://www.experts-exchange.com/Net...Q_20840048.html

I gathered all the above from searching google. I can not personally help you cause I have no experience with that technology. It's not DNS specific.
