your problem
I think you had the same problem I am having. I have a domain name that is pointed at my ip address and that works, however my ip address is always in the address field of the browser instead of the domain name. Did you get the Bind to work with yours to get it to work correctly?

You still have not made the changes I told you to make. The mail host still needs an IP address, and the SOA record still has an invalid contact email address as seen here: http://serialcoders.sytes.net/cgi-b...&lr=4&submit=DS Replace paranoiccreations.com with "administrator". I decided not to give you a tutorial on the master file format. I'm too lazy, and I'm hot and tired right now. heh. But anyway, I guess I don't mind making people's zone files for them. Go search online for tutorials on the master file format or something. And here's my recommendation for your zone. http://serialcoders.sytes.net/BIND/...ations.com.zone This much I will tell you about zone files though. All domains that end with a period are taken as literal. All domains that do NOT end with a period are considered relative. All relative domains has the $ORIGIN appended onto the end of them.
