Google looks for meaningful words in the title.
And put the words, as real text "Asa Holley" in the body. Facts about Asa, current gigs, etc.
You have nothing but meta data and links. You have to have substantive content. |
Good point. I haven't looked at the site until now and you're absolutely correct. Google doesn't analyze images to parse sites. There is absolutely no reference to Asa Holley in the entire body of the page.
asherwolf, here is a little bit of advice that may help you. Create a text-only version, or at least a version where you have more than just images or little tidbits. And use Google Webmaster Tools to upload a sitemap.xml file of your site so it can see ALL your pages. Google's algorithms parse text and links, so you definitely need more to get a better ranking.
