    how properly setup for reverse dns entry.

    Welcome to Dev Shed.

    Is this a home server?

    Generally, you would need to contact your ISP to setup your RDNS.

    Give them a call. (Generally look up the Tech Support number).

    Tell them that you'd like them to setup Reverse DNS for your IP address. I'm assuming you have a static IP?

    They'll ask what you want it to be set as, and just let them know the domain you want them to set for that IP. (Make sure the domain you tell them is actually one you own).

    You can check here.

    Also, you can check within your zone config files...

    thank you very much.

    it good for me to test my name server.

    but my reverse dns i cant fixed we try to call ISP pldt.net

    according to pldt.net my tech-support they do not support or do not part of service.

    you can check my dns. to cis.net.ph
    and please check my reverse dns or give us suggestion and how to fix.
