Hi I have set up a website on a server that has no domain name. at the moment I am using its IP address.
However I can not access the website from a local computer that is on the network but i do have external access when I get home. Is there some reason why I can not access it internally. Do I need to have a domain name on my server. If not is it possible to make the Ip address accessible to the local computers Thanks Hong Gonga |

Do you host your own website? Cause if so, that is why. Here are your options as to fixing that problem:
1) Specify in all your LAN computer's hosts files the private IP address for your webserver. (recommended if feasable) 2) Install BIND and host your own domain using split DNS. Split DNS is where the server will return your private IP address for LAN computers and return the public IP address for internet users.
