How to find out IP of my remote router?

    Hi there,

    I have this problem:

I am in Germany right now and I have a webcam in my house in Italy (2000 km away). I had all set up with DynDNS and all worked fine for several years, but yesterday I got a mail from DynDNS that I have not loged in once a month and my account got deleted.

NOW... I can not access my camera anymore!!

I have upgraded my DynDNS account to a PRO account and created the same host with the last known IP address.

However, NO success!! my router is on. The DynDNS support told me that my router should send a new IP to the account. But it seems not to work.

ANY idea how I can find out my current IP address of my router???

    thanks, max

With the same password too? If everything matches up then it might be the router is not updating because it was told the information was invalid and disabled itself. Dunno.

Can you contact support again and ask for the update logs from your old account? Surely they still have the data around from it and did not actually delete everything. Then you'll have the last IP address it used...
