lame nameserver, what is that?
ok i think...according to
URL that my nameserver is lame..whatever that means.. also according to that link above that no name server records respond because my name server is lame.. if this is so, how do i make it so it isn't lame? |

|
A lame DNS server is one that does not provide authorative data for a domain that designates that server as authorative for it.
Example. The example.com administrators want ns1.isp.com and ns2.isp.com to provide DNS information for it. They assign ns1.isp.com and ns2.isp.com as the authorative servers for that domain. But the isp.com administrators don't know about this, and don't tell their servers to answer queries for example.com. Their ns[12].isp.com servers are lame for example.com.
