Linksys BEFSR41 Which DNS Client
I am using the Linksys BEFSR41 and have been having a ____ of a time trying to get my web site up for the WWW. I am on tech support with linksys right now but this is the fourth time. I always talk to a senior level man. Anyhow I have a dynamic IP address and set up an account with DYNDNS.org because linksys told me that the router would support this client service and not NO-IP like I had before. Now I am still having a _____ of a time. Does anyone have a real preference to a third party DNS updater that has the same router as me and is in a similar situation. I also use verizon DSL.
Thank you |

Well, I really don't know, but I don't understand why do you
have a problem, because if you use linux or windows, you install a client and the client should check you external ip. Almost every client even if is installed on a pc with a local IP the client will check your external ip. ______________________________________________ Free Dynamic DNS and Static DNS Services http://linuxrc.org |
