Local IP or External IP?
Hello
I want to setup my own DNS server on SuSE 9. I used BIND 9 which is on suse already. I want to know if i have to enter external ips or my network ips. |

That depends if you want the DNS server used by internal clients or external clients. If both, then you can setup BIND using "views" so that internet clients get internal IP's, and external clients get external IP's.

You only need views if you want the same lookup to return different results depending on who's asking.
