Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition
Good Morning,
We are a small ISP located in Central America, and currently providing a small group of customer with Internet Access. The problem we currently have is the following. 1. - We have a domain name call (URL) 2. - We where assigned 255 IPīs for our customers. 3. - We are connected to our main Internet carrier. We have install a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition on a xSeries IBM 305 Server and installed the DNS Server with Active Directory. We have no guide-to-do person locally. And we need to start assigning our customers public IP for there needs. We have no idea in how to configure properly this DNS. But IT people have told us, that is not to hard because we are still small. We want to manage our own DNS server and everything. We count with two WAN connection that connects to UUNET Global Network and Sprint Network. So we want that the DNS Server knows when each connection is up. And if the connection is Down to route to the Up links connection. Please provide us, with some help... We want to stop been ignorous! ![]() Thank you, Technical Support. |
