multiple domain hosting

need some help brudder.

i would like to do multiple domain hosting.i am running dnsbind

i have already create all the necessary files needed. what i don't know is about the reverse zone file - xx.xxx.xx.rev

i have something like this now for the .rev file

@ SOA ns1.spearcomm.net. ( ; ns1.spearcomm.net is the primary server for spearcomm.net
admin.spearcomm.net. ; contact email for spearcomm.net is admin@spearcomm.net
2004041700 ; Serial ID in reverse date format
21600 ; Refresh interval for slave servers
1800 ; Retry interval for slave servers
604800 ; Expire limit for cached info on slave servers
900 ) ; Minimum Cache TTL in zone records

@ NS ns1.spearcomm.net. ; ns1.spearcomm.net is a host for 203.125.234.x
@ NS ns2.spearcomm.net. ; ns2.spearcomm.net is a host for 203.125.234.x

117 PTR mail.spearcomm.net. ; 203.125.234.117 is mail.spearcomm.net

so if i would like to have another domain hosted in the same server with same ip as the above file, where do i create the other reverse domain info?? do i create another new .rev domain file or do i put it in the same file??

thanks in advance.

RH

You can NOT have second PTR record for the same IP.
You can have difrent domain/hostname witn the same IP,
but you can have only one PTR record for that IP.

Having more than one PTR record for an IP address is
arguably acceptable these days.

Please read this, maybe it will help you:
