Namerserver and IPs questions
Read from various web hosting forums, most reseller package
comes with 2 IPs for nameservers. 1st IP is always used for the main domain and ns1.maindomain.com 2nd IP is used for ns2.maindomain.com and, depend on the hosting, all other domains hosted will either use the 2nd IP or shared server's IP. Is there any different or pros & cons for these two setups? Can I register and change my nameserver to ns(1/2).otherdomain.com using 1st IP? If so, will my maindomain.com still has static IP? Or 1st IP goes to which domain now? Wish u understand what I am talking abt. |
