'Page cannot be found' after hosting switchover
hi,
i need some help please. recently (2 months ago) we switched hosting services and until now some of our customers are getting 'page cannot be found' errors randomly on our site. we are sure that this is not a software related error but DNS error. it looks like our DNSs did not propagate completely. is there any way to check if we are having DNS problems accross the internet? please help, wojo. |

You need to talk to people who are having problems viewing the site(s). Are they unable to view certain things, or everything? If you can talk to them, have them ping the domain name in question from a dos prompt:
Code:
ping domain.com I can't imagine an ISP waiting months to update their DNS but it might happen, and it's completely out of your control. Contact their ISP and slap them on the back of their head ![]() |
