Partial DNS errors.
Hi yall,
I have a problem where I installed a new router & set it up, but I can only access some web pages. Some pages come up with DNS errors. I have checked the DNS IP's - they are correct. I set them manually - this has the same result. Google will work but hotmail wont. MSmessenger wont work. Their system was setup with a hub and internet sharing using XP. This worked fine. I don;t understand - usually if theres a problem, it either works or it doesn't??? Any Ideas.... HELP!! Thanks Chris Last edited by chrissso : September 22nd, 2003 at 10:12 PM. |

What are the errors? E.g., "unknown host" or "cannot connect to network", etc..? Can you ping the IP address of hotmail, or just not the name www.hotmail.com?
