Pinging domain names returns lan ip

What does it mean when pinging a domain name returns local ip address 192.168.xxx.xxx. Is there a routing table inside the router that has an invalid entry or something?
I know for a fact that this domain, lets call it mydomain.com exists, pinging it from any computer returns the public ip except this one.

Could be the hosts file or just bad cache. You can try flushing the DNS cache by using ipconfig /flushdns on the command line in Windows. If other computers on the same router have no issue, it could still be the router but most likely not.
