registering a new machine with our nameservers
I am setting up a new machine on a small network in the office. I have given it a hostname and I have given it CNAME and A record entries in our primary nameserver's zone files..
but if I now try to ping it, (ping lon-ccons-1.mydomain.net) I get an unknow host error What do I need to do on the nameserver so that these changes will take effect? I'm a bit lost here ! thanks christo
