Hello! i need help with this, i have a server with the ip 148.243.205.247 and i want it to respond in reverse as hd1.hostingdepot.net, when i do a ping -a to 148.243.205.247 it responds in the address from my connection supplier and not with hd1.hostingdepot.net, i use w2k DNS system, what is the correct process so i can do a ping -a 148.243.205.247 and it responds in hd1.hostingdepot.net? (when i do ping hd1.hostingdepot.net it responds with the correct ip, but not in the inverse way)
Thanks for your help. |

According to the above report the following is true: 148.243.205.247 resolves to "na-148-243-205-247.na.avantel.net.mx" The IP owners host this information on the following servers: dns1.avantel.net.mx - 200.33.213.66 dns2.avantel.net.mx - 200.33.209.66 So to change the appropriate information do you have a means of having the information changed on the above servers? If so, how?
