sample zone file ?

I have many confusions about bind DNS server. I am new to it and have questions about defining multiple NS in one zone files from different Domains.

Explaining, We have promary NS in our domain e.g ns1.dommain.net and secondary NS at ISP e.g. ns.sampleisp.net and ns.samples2isp.net

I have all entries as suggested by SilentRage. When I lookup from outside, it shows primary NS properly but secondary NS entries are returned like
ns.sampleisp.net.domdomain.net
and
ns.samples2isp.net.domdomain.net

Why is this so..

Zone file has entry..
file: domdomain.net.zone
--------------------
@ SOA NS1 (
.
.
.
.

@ NS NS1
@ NS ns.sampleisp.net
@ NS ns.samples2isp.net
--------------------

same is situation with MX records.. This is causing reverse lookup fail many times.

Can somebody suggest what could be wrong ? or provide me sample zone files...

Thank you in advance..

The only problem here is you didn't pay close enough attention to what my tutorial had to say! heh, but I don't blame ya, you're not the first person to happen to forget.

This quote is taken from the Windows BIND setup post on reverse zone setup:

"You are allowed to specify full domains in your zone files IF you have a period stuck on to the end of it. Always put that period on there if you DON'T want BIND to automatically append the zone name to the end of the domain."
